Our Commitment

We at Metrospec building services are committed to achieving a green business policy, which is in place to reduce the environmental impact of our business. We will strive to be a leading performer in our industry by embracing this commitment at all levels in the organization, and it will not be compromised for any reason.

Our Key Beliefs

Part of this policy is to help reduce waste. Where possible, we reuse and recycle all of our packing supplies and materials. This also helps us keep our costs low. We recycle paper and plastic, and we hold ourselves to the following practices:

• Our fleet of vehicles operates with energy-efficient practices that reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
• When purchasing copiers or printers, we opt for those offering double-sided printing and other eco-friendly functions, such as automatic standby mode to save energy, as well as EnergyStar appliances. Where possible, we avoid laser printers, since the powder-based printing process common to some high-speed copiers makes recycling more difficult.
• We use iPads and iPhones to send information by email and text instead of paper wherever possible.
• We choose ecological, reusable, and durable supplies.
• We use eco-friendly methods of maintenance and cleaning, along with biodegradable products that are safe for the environment.

Why It Matters

Using eco-friendly products where possible not only keeps dirt to a minimum, it also improves indoor air quality, creating a healthier indoor environment. In turn, this supports increased productivity and reduced absenteeism for the businesses we serve.
